I was a former boarder with Sid Griffith Equestrian Center when family business required I move 90 miles away. At the new barn my horse lost between 75-100 pounds over the course of 8 months. My horse would not play at the new barn, schedules were non-existant, feed schedules were all over the place. I couldn't get his hooves trimmed--although the people were very friendly, they didn't appear to have a clue about running a stabling facility. I determined that I had to get my horse back to his happy/healthy surroundings at SGES. We have been back about 6 weeks now, and my horse has regained most of the weight he has lost. I had him out in the lighted arena last evening, and he played and rushed about like a 6 years old -- he's 29. Thank goodness for the professionals at SGES -- I truly thought my beloved horse was dying. It is good to be home again.
