Its probably best to make a reservation. I was solo so sat at the bar...my bartender/waitress was sweet and attentive. The drinks were great. Nice atmosphere. I ordered the deviled eggs for an appetizer. They were really good. The ribeye was nice a juicy and cooked to perfection. Now let's talk about this macaroni and cheese or let's not. Restaurant advertised as southern which this macaroni was not something to rave about. It tasted like a bland velveeta shells and cheese. No real cheese just a cheese sauce. Everything else I enjoyed. Be mindful that restaurant has no parking lot so may be hard to find a spot.

The service is great. Luwanna was our server and she was prompt, personable, and on it. She didnt miss a beat. The food overall is GREAT. Fried Green Tomatoes - yum order them Deviled eggs - good Biscuits - YUM order them Ceasar Sad - really good Fried Chicken - YUMMMMM order it Ribs - barely eaten at our table Shrimp & Grits - okay wouldnt order it again Mac and cheese - it was very watery and not the mac and cheese you would expect Mashed potatoes - soooo good! Yes order! Humming Bird Cake - sooo good

It was ok. If i had not ordered anything but the Kobe Burger this review would be a 4/5 Star. I must say that the medium rare that i had was one of the most satisfying burger experiences ever. However, the rest of food was just not good. Biscuits were dry and hard and cold when they came out. The fried chicken could be had at Popeye's or Churches. Drinks were good. Service was slow. At times when i wanted something no one would come by. When the feeling past, then the server would come. It might just be growing pains but i would say give it a pass for at least a year. I might contemplate to return next time I come to Staples but for now it is a pass

Just Okay!!! Ordered the fried chicken plate for 2 to 3 people Sides mac and cheese and kale Cole slaw Deviled eggs appetizer With 2 lemon drop martinis each for 2 and 1 signature drink the bill came to $180 That was a little surprising But it was for the experience however I cant say I'll return. The wait staff was friendly and awesome

First time at Shaquille’s, nice restaurant. Great location, across from the Staple Center. I ordered grits & shrimp and I requested the shrimp to be separate, from the grits because I don’t eat shrimp- but I was in the mood for grits. -My boyfriend was planning on eating the shrimp. I was highly disappointed in the portion size. I mean, that was a toddler portion size grits. Not to mention it was an expensive dish compared to what my man ordered. Expensive for such a small portion size... I will not return!
