"I was honestly afraid of entering the shop after reading this reviews because I really needed help by finding cosmetics for my B3-type curly hair. After being ONE second in the store a very nice, handsome and beautiful person showed me everything I needed. I was even told about some details of the founders of the products that were showed me. After giving me time to look for what I want another very kind person also asked to help me. Really, this made my day! "Came to L.A. for my birthday and have never really been into makeup. I wasn’t sure what I wanted and was very indecisive. Autumn helped me and took as much time as needed until I was able to make a selection. Her customer service and education on makeup was very impressive. I made my selections based off of what was discussed and I’m very thankful. Looking forward to trying all my new makeup!"

"My partner recently came out as non binary and they would like to learn about makeup. I brought my partner to this store a little nervous with how this would go, because I’m a very femme woman and they are currently very male presenting. The greeter turned to me asking how she could help me, and I just said, “they are looking for bright colors.” She immediately realized my partner was the one there to shop and took a mental note of their pronouns. An assistant named Kris came bouncing over and was careful to get the pronouns exactly right and help my partner with what was obviously their first experience in a makeup store. Kris asked my partner their opinions and put them in charge, instead of defaulting to me, which I appreciated because it made my partner feel confident and accepted. What could have been an anxiety-inducing experience was a blast for them. Thank you so much for supporting LGBTQ and being a safe space for those who are shyly stepping out and have a lot to learn. I was so proud of all the girls at Sephora for being so inclusionary and excited for my partner."
