Small, free and fun- what more could you want from this fairly new museum that just opened in Downtown LA? We came here at 6:30 with our printed tickets- not a problem at all getting in. Be aware of having small enough bags according to their regulations.

The quilts here are not your grandmother's quilts. These are really pieces of art and amazing in their complexity. Well worth the admission charge!

Wow! I've never been here before. I made my first visit today. There are some really amazing quilts and tapestries. A lot of the artists are from northern california. Really interesting. I will be back.

Small museum but very well kept with interesting textile art. Gift shop is small and cute and it comes with a nice sturdy hand made bag made by volunteers when you buy something. My whole family enjoyed it a lot.

Tiny and VERY compelling. I don't really know how to deconvolve the particular exhibits that were there from the museum at large, as it's my first time, but their choices of exhibits were absolutely phenomenal. The pictures simply don't do them justice, but they all had a presence of their own, saying and whispering and singing and showing you lifetimes of stories.
