The old priest, Fr. Pirrone was excellent; he worked hard to maintain the church and his services were respectful and reverent; unfortunately, he was reassigned and replaced. The new priest is just terrible. He goes to church wearing sandals, presumably because he's best buds with Jesus and because Jesus wore sandals, that means he should cosplay as a 2,000-year-old Galilean Jew. The new priest, Edwin, probably is a closeted atheist considering his lack of respect for or even bare minimum belief in his own religion, which apparently was invented only in the 60's considering how dated and aging his worldview is; but because atheists look down on the superstitious people who line their pockets anyway, Edwin probably looks at his position as a "priest" only as a sinecure. If there is no God, what's the problem with taking advantage of gullible people, am I right? All the stories of nuns abusing 2-year-olds are works of fiction because all of the nuns formerly located at this church relo...

The good old priest in charge had been reassigned and my recent experience with St. Teresa of Avila Church had been unpleasant.

The nun beat a non-verbal three year old slapping with a book, hits to the head, pinning to ground, and more. The school allowed this and didn’t believe the mother when she stepped forward. The mother took responsibility into her own hands and this “school” did nothing. It is horrible that such a school based on the catholic religion allowed this to occur. This is a disgrace to the catholic religion and everyone and anyone who backs this place up is accepting the beating of young children in the house of the lord.

What an amazingly beautifully small, traditional Catholic Church. 10:00 a.m. Sunday Mass is the most reverend Novus Ordo I've ever attended. Father Pirrone's homily is a no holds bar proclaiming of the Gospel. Parishioners even receive communion kneeling, on the tongue, at the communion rails.

So we're just condoning abuse now? Some church you are. You could have set things right by firing that teacher, but no. You let her continue working there, and you're putting more children in harms way by doing so. He's two. TWO YEARS OLD. You can only hope that God will forgive y'all for this.

If there is no God, what's the problem with taking advantage of gullible people, am I right? All the stories of nuns abusing 2-year-olds are works of fiction because all of the nuns formerly located at this church relocated to Alhambra years ago, and none of these hysterical performance actors could show any sort of evidence to their claims, and they will keep creating stories until enough people would believe them and effectively discredit the Catholic Church, as if it wouldn't be merely replaced by another organized religion like Black Lives Matter and Gender Ideology- sadly, these new religions are such flimsy and thinly-veiled money grabs, anyone who submits to them in a few years would look as ridiculous as someone with bumper stickers supporting Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders."
