Went to the lodge for a conference. I couldn't be more pleased. The room was excellent. The views were breathtaking. And last but not least, the staff was phenomenal. Great choice.

Celebrated my Ma’s 80th birthday today here for lunch. Alexas was our server and she was top notch all the way! Beyond amazing service and she spoiled her with treats and kindness. Dessert was just over the top. Can’t say enough pleasant things about Rough Creek and Alexas. We’ll be back. Thank you for making my mother feel so special. Truly means a lot!

This place is amazing and has something to offer for everyone at any age! It’s so quiet here if you want to relax but if you want there are more active areas to be as well! Staff was great, food is amazing, just about whatever you want, whenever you want it! Highly recommend!

We celebrated Van Griffith KIA's 20th Christmas party last night on 12/4/2021.... It was a blast. The food was phenomenal. Prime Rib with 3 different sauces... a tomato horseradish chutney, ground mustard, and a delicious lemon horseradish. Smoked salmon, homemade Caesar dressing on the Caesar salad. Delicious breads. All the food was amazing. We are planning on coming back next year.

This place reminded me of the best parts of living in Texas. Combine that with a remarkably attentive staff and you have a little slice of heaven here. My wife mentioned we were visiting for our anniversary months ago when booking, not only did they remember but they seated us in a private area of the restaurant and surprised us with a very special dessert! No reservations on providing a full 5 stars here, but in an attempt to provide some constructive criticism: the lunch burger was a bit too salty and should be reworked a bit, and more included activities for adults would be nice particularly if they highlight some of the more wooded areas of the land and (separately) later evenings.
