I’ve bought a guitar and guitar pedal here for one main reason- friendly, knowledgeable, and patient staff. I really mean it- I’ve shopped around and to my mind there are two choices when buying music equipment. Online is great for commodity products you don’t need to try out, but if you need a first hand experience, to learn about and invest in more substantial gear, you need to find a place you can trust and that has a great customer experience. I recently got a Gretsch Falcon here and I took my time - the team were helpful, engaged, and answered any question I had. It’s now my first stop when I consider any purchases.

100% love this store. The team is always nice and professional. Great selection of guitars, amps and accessories. My new go to store. And the videos they post on Facebook....... priceless. But they should start the videos with the guitars more often. LOL!

Huge shout out to Dave and Lauren. My daughter has been playing a ukulele at school and wanted to save up for her own. Big learning moment for her as we talked in the car about why we shop local and what it means to the community, but also how local shops have genuine passion and will take care of you when you need it. Found Rock City on Google and drove right over. They were so patient with my daughter, who’s working on her shyness. I couldn’t have been more proud of her, and I am so appreciative of the awesome staff. We will be in soon for lessons! New customer for life. Cheers!

How did I not know this place is only 4 miles from my house! Awesome music store! They have a great selection of everything. They have a LOT of amps. Competitively priced too. I checked their prices against Sweetwater and they were right there. While I do love Sweetwater I would much rather buy something that I can play first. Another plus is the guitars are in new condition unlike GC where a lot of their guitars have been on the shelf for a year or more with the original strings and not anywhere close to being setup. Just a very cool music store all around. Oh, forgot to mention they also have a big vinyl section and 3 or 4 vintage pinball machines you can play. Now if they only had Eight Ball Deluxe pinball machine that would be the ultimate topper! Hint hint

Such a great place for used and new music on CD or vinyl. They do lessons too of course, but I love that they still sell physical music. Staff are all rockstars. You guys are the best.
