Never been to a hardware store with this level of customer service. I moved to Philly in the fall and this has become my go-to spot for most things. They have a surprising amount of inventory for a small hardware, and as soon as you walk in someone is always there to help you if you need it. Everyone I've dealt with has been really nice, and if they don't have what you're looking for they will point you to other hardware stores that might have it. A+

Local shop that has literally every single thing I go in there looking for. Staff is friendly, prices are reasonable, their key copies consistently work (this is no small feat), and they let my toddler feed treats to the shop dog. Really, what more can you want from your local hardware store?

Hardware Store with Heart and Expertise: I am so grateful that Rittenohuse Hardware hires and trains the most helpful employees I know. I have gone there several times in the last week, it is always my first stop to assess my options. We just moved into the neighborhood and needed a tool to repair our furnace when it suddenly went out. Staff was super helpful figuring out the wrench size needed and some other smaller things. Definitely would recommend!

Being someone young who just moved to the city, the staff here is AMAZING. They are so nice, understanding, and knowledgeable. Store is not too big where you can’t find anything and the staff is always there to point you in the right direction. Have never spent more then 10 minutes, but have always got more then we went in for. Super affordable too, especially for a small business!
