FAQ:
"Worst experience. My father bought a stove from them and like others have mentioned it stopped working after 6 months and the warranty they offer only lasted 6 months. He called them many times and every time promised to come but never showed up. They are total scam. Be aware and don’t burn your money on them."
"Time wasters! Their technicians miss appointments, no updates when calling the office, no apologies for wasting people’s time. So rude and unprofessional! If they apply the same professional standards when fixing appliances, good luck!"
"Walked in to Rafy’s appliances looking for a inch Samsung stove. They were great and have great customer service. The delivery of the stove was on time. Definitely one of the best in the neighborhood."
"I can’t believe the experience I’ve had with this business. I bought a ” inch refrigerator at Rafys Appliance Store and it was a huge mistake. When Rafy got to my apartment, the fridge did not fit to come down the area where I live in. Rafy and his helper forced the refrigerator down the stairs, causing it to be extremely dented and severely scratched. Being the understanding person I overextend myself to be, I completely accepted the fridge in the condition they left it in with the deal that Rafy he would return to paint it, the following Saturday. 3 weeks have gone by and I’ve had 3 No show, No call appointments. At this point, I’m not even calling about the paint anymore, I’m calling because the refrigerator completely stopped working. I had to throw out over $ worth of groceries, I’ve had my apartment smelling horrible because my food was rotting. Yesterday I waited for Rafy all day long and he did not show up. I called his business, very upset and told them I couldn’t believe how they’re handling this situation. I also told them that if I would’ve read the reviews about them before doing business, I would’ve never purchased anything from them. After not hearing from Rafy since (//) today is (//) he decides to send the money I paid for the refrigerator back to me with someone we have as a mutual friend. How unprofessional is that? I’m extremely furious with how this situation was handled and as a person who dedicates myself to supporting small Dominican owned business, I advise you stay very far away from Rafys Home Appliances."
"Rafy came once to assess the issue. Then I made 5 subsequent appointments for him to do the repair. I literally called the morning of each appointment to confirm I was on the schedule. The receptionist confirmed each time I was on the schedule and she would call when he was minutes away. Each time I got no call and Rafy was a no show. My fault for scheduling 5 times. What a terrible way to do business. If you cannot do the job. Just say so and don’t waste people’s time."
