"Where do I begin? Lets start with Hygiene and being sanitary. There is always issues with the pipes meaning students are unable to use the bathroom. They take the students all the way to the police station just to use the bathroom. Lunch workers are unable to use to keep clean and wash their hands before serving lunches. Lets also discuss security. Unlike other schools prep charter does not have scanners and metal detectors to see if any drugs or weapons are brought into school. There was an event where a student bragged about having a gun in their locker. Instead evacuating the students to keep them safe they sent them to class while checking the lockers. They also don't have lock down drills to practice what to do in the event of an intruder. Lets also discuss common curiosity. There are students coming all the way from the northeast area who struggle to get to school on time. SEPTA is not always reliable due to issues with trains and buses but administration fails to understand that. A student coming in at 8: must serve an hour long detention. They are more concerned about students wearing sweatpants then they are about their education. They send students home if they are "out of uniform". If you are looking for a good safe school that cares about the well being of your child then this is not a school you want to look into. If you are looking for a school with caring loving staff who understands then this is not the school for your child."

"When I first came to prep it was fun, but at the the same time the education was great. Now prep is boring and I know school is about education, but you should still have fun. A lot of people say high school was the their best 4 years and right now it's horrible. First they changed the lunch what was the best thing and on top of that theres so many rules. Overall the school is ok but if you want good four years you might want to think of other schools. Also the sports team are not that good besides basketball"

"It is a neighborhood school, so there is less of a school to get scholarships. I personally chose not to enter into that school. Has a nice big Mural on the side of the school. Good luck to Graduates who make it out."
