"The staff is helpful. Online and in the store. Nice selection of merchandise and accessories. I purchased a beautiful used Canon lens. However, it failed in the first hrs of purchase. I will up date this review after I go back to the store about this and see how they will handle this issue. *edit - can't be repaired in house. To be sent to Canon. weeks for turnaround. - Wondering if a store credit and purchase of a new lens might be an option."

"Love precision, but feel the south store is treated as the red headed step child. Used gear, film stocks, and bags are all primarily reserved for the north store. Hopefully they’ll start giving the south sore an equal seat at the table soon as I am from out of town and loathe driving across Austin to the north store."
"Do not go here! There are better camera places in South Austin. I recommend Holland Photo near South Lamar. Developing times for Film takes over two weeks, they are ridiculously slow. I recommend going to Holland photo and they will develop it in three days tops. Also the staff is not experienced at all and don’t know much about cameras. I brought in my film camera and they did not know how to load the film or use the camera. It was a perfectly operating camera and they told me that I should return it because it was broken and that was not the case. In fact they tried to sell me on cheap disposable cameras instead of actually trying to help me load the film in the camera. In regards to printing, there are also ridiculously slow. I would recommend going to any other photo place for a faster service."
"Called the other day looking for a Sony zv-e and learned the reason they were on back order. Sales rep knew exactly what she was talking about and didn't hesitate to have a slightly longer conversation with a severe case of ADHD/OCD. I unfortunately don't remember her name, but, because of her I am going to purchase the Sony zv-e at THAT specific store so I know I'll get treated like a person. Don't forget to subscribe to my YouTube channel when I show up to make the purchase. Thank you for not telling me to hold on when I rambled, that meant alot. 😎"
