"Sadly it appears our beloved karate dojo could not survive the zero income from the imposed quarantine. The location has been completely cleaned out and the outdoor sign removed. It looks like Uechi Ryu wil no longer be at the Germantown Ave location. My only hope is Sensei Sumpter or one of his stellar pupils continues the Uechi Ryu tradition at another location. My young son attended for the past 3 years and he loved it. The dojo was a second family to him. He will be heartbroken. Im sad to see it go this way. We love you Sumpter family!"
