Litterally locked the door in my face at 5:58pm. The manager said "no" and chopped at his neck. Rang up last woman, let her out, and confirmed wouldn't let me in (I thought for sure I was mistaken). They clearly have so much business that they don't need mine, or my block party, or referrals. They've been rude before, but this takes the cake.

Old school neighborhood butcher shop. Very good quality and great meat and sausage selection but prepare yourself for high prices $$$ - paying for quality and custom orders but still a bit shocking... makes the tab at downtown steak houses make sense.

Just a great old fashioned neighborhood market. When you are entertaining this is where you go for a great cut of beef. A myriad of sausages and cheeses.One of the last places you can get Swedish sausage, Potato sausage,Prinz sausage and Bund Ost cheese, in Chicago. Great old fashioned service. A gem!

Here every week for something. Jerky is the best. Specialty deli meat is pretty great (rosemary pork!). Moves a little slow at times, but worth every second/penny.

Quite possibly one of the best meat markets in the city of Chicago! Excellent service, the staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about what they had to offer and the wealth of products are second to none. I had seen lines out the door in the past during the Holiday season and I can see why!
