A long time ago in a city far far away lived the Haight Street library. I would go charge my phone there all the time when I was homeless. This store Desigual San Francisco was having an event that if you stood outside in your bra and underwear they’d let you go in and get free stuff and I did just that and found the coolest coat I ever had in my life. One day I went to the library on Haight Street and this blond woman working there told me she liked my coat and asked me if she could check out the nifty design of the coat. So I took it off and handed it to her and she took it out of my hands folded it in front of me and walked off with my coat. That wasn’t very nice. 🧐🤨😔

You might find this library small but it’s still pretty neat.

Since when did librarians become transgressive bullies? Excuse me but why is my ethnic background an issue? I have zero, zip, no Italian ancestry whatsoever. I hear employees speaking about me in the negative apparently making an assumption that Im Italian and apparently being Italian is a bad thing here. My ancestry is Lebanese Irish Egyptian English French German Belgian South Asian Indian and Native American Ogallala Sioux & Choctaw Danish Afghan Libyan. My entire background is based on racial harmony & Im being treated like some reject from the godfather. No excuse for this as Im also very well behaved like an adult should be. So sorry you don't approve of race mixing.

This is really a no star review. I do not go to the library for bad experiences! I was there yesterday to pick-up a book I ordered. They let you in now apparently---instead of pick-up at the door. I was stopped by an actually police officer before I went in telling me I did not have the right kind of mask --- a gaiter. I need one those basic masks that go around your ears, I guess. So, no gaiters, no bandanas, etc. Which I guess is fine but their signage should say that. The sign just said masks are required. SFPL, people do not like getting stop by police officers. And people do not like getting stop by police officers that tell they are doing something wrong. Not sure why the librarians can't regulate this. Of course, this was only part of the experience and conversation but all in all it was pretty bad.
