We walked into this store we’ve been driving past for years, and we were immediately enchanted with the beautiful artisanal works surrounding us. Howard came up and set us at ease, making what might seem like an overwhelming selection accessible. His expertise was clear, and his love for the extraordinary craftsmanship was infectious. I began to share his vision and was surprised to find myself drawn to the investment in choosing a fine heirloom rug. We kept returning to a particularly beautiful rug, but Howard was happy to go through several mounds of rugs to make sure we had what we wanted. No hard sell here—Howard didn’t try to steer us into an up-sell, he just helped us find the right rug for us. Not only was it 1/3 the cost of the initial rug, but it was also on sale half off! And that’s why I feel compelled to write such a glowing recommendation. I’ve lived on hardwood floors sans rug for 9 years b/c I figured a rug would be (1) expensive and (2) difficult to find, and I didn’t want the same old Pottery Barn rug. Howard made the experience so enjoyable—no pressure—that I’m excited to return while decorating our new home with hardwoods throughout. I’m actually looking forward to it b/c I’m confident that Howard will steer us to what’s best for us, not him."
