When you are in New York, do as New York will do! Go here. It is an initiation into corsets, but you must be a tolerant and understanding person. They will know if you are not. I had to make a personal appointment and when I was greeted, I met a wonderful team who helped me navigate the small shop. I really liked the friendliness with other patrons in the shop. Two at a time women coming in for fittings for the next thing they have to do. Covid safe. I was fitted for a corset you could buy on Amazon and could return and exchange. But since you don't know, and may have never crossed over to a corset, just FYI, many women in NYC do! I am a mastectomy patient and I had to be very clear about what I liked and hated to avoid being talked into a sale. But I will say there was never a moment when I was oversold. This is a shop who respects your wishes. She and I connected in knitting and my need for tailorship. I was just disappointed that she couldn't do more for me. But I understand b...

I walked into Orchard Corsets my first time ever buying a corset. They literally asked me a couple questions had me go to the fitting room and picked out the perfect size. I can't wait to go back and buy another one 🥰

Place is small but I found what I wanted. The owners are polite and if it's not in stock they'll get it for you. Also the store offers delivery service.

Just had the most amazing experience!! I highly recommend this place! I scheduled an appointment the day before. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a gentleman and a lady took me back behind a curtain. She looked at me for literally 1 second and found me 2 beautiful corsets that fit perfectly!! She is clearly a trained eye and an expert! She assisted me in trying each one on and I was in complete awe at how beautiful I looked. I will definitely be back here for more!! They are so affordable too! I am in love with this place!!

Took my daughter for a fitting (a dreaded experience for her) and she left ecstatic. One look over and two try-ons and she was set. She told me we’ll be back for her birthday.
