I love my Doctor and all the wonderful staff whom I have had today. Doctor Kristina Slam is so knowledgeable, sweet and personable. I thank God I was referred to her by Dr. Eubanks. I give all the people ten stars.

HORRID COMMUNICATION I was scheduled to have a EGD/NG tube placed past an obstruction called SMA syndrome and instead of then telling my mom or anyone else they decide to let the tube stay BEFORE passing the blocking even Tho im completely UNABLE to Eat or drink ANYTHING. So instead of removing the tube they still wanna run things and try to “see if it works” I hope it doesn’t so I can sue cause this place is an absolute travesty. They hire blind nurses who can’t take blood, and doctors who can’t run other ideas across FAMILY MEMBERS. What should’ve been done is have an Intestinal tube placed PAST THE OBSTRUCTION!!!! But no they chose the cheap way out and are trying to band aid the situation. Not to mention have a nasal tube is absolutely horrid due to me weighing less than 114 pounds with a tiny throat and esophagus. Only good side to this hospital is some of the workers and doctors show a lot of care but not all. Would not recommend 3/10 ( 8 hours later, it’s almost impossible to s...

It seems like no one here knows what they're doing. I've been sent in for scans I didn't need, not prescribed antibiotics when I needed them, told I need to be in the hospital immediately, had the order denied without communication, finally admitted only to be discharged the next day and told I never needed to be in the hospital. I've also called patient experience directly and left messages, and had other staff offer to have them call me. They've never called. At this point I'm convinced they're just trying to bill my insurance company as much as they can, with no regard for my health.

The front desk receptionist was asking for social security numbers in a packed and quiet hospital to verify you to check in which is absurd and dangerous. To have to verify all that sensitive information infront of strangers. DOB, Social, name. That should take place elsewhere

Place has very qualified doctors, nurses and staff. They are short handed but the ones here do care about their patients. God bless OSU East and all of their associates. ER wait can be long but is very thorough once you get in the ER diagnostic area.
