if you're a woman, don't come here unless you want to be treated like a child. I came in looking for paint brushes and asked to see the angled ones. the guy asked do you know what the difference is? you know what the angled ones do? if I didn't know then I wouldn't be asking. I also needed a pocketknife and when I asked where they were, he started laughing and asking me what a girl like me was planning on doing with a pocketknife. does it matter? unprofessional customer service, just patronizing all around

It seemed pretty busy when I went around noon on a weekday. Person at cashier seemed very unknowledgeable and even after getting help from the senior, sold me the wrong screwdriver. (I was looking for a #00 screwdriver but they gave me a set which had 0, 000, and 0000 along with other unneeded ones). I took it since I am inexperienced with anything hardware but it felt like the staff was the same.

Been going there for 6 years. Always very helpful knowledgable staff and have what you need. Great recent renovation, much easier to navigate.

The majority of the employees are EXTREMELY LAZY, they see customers waiting, but they chit chat amongst themselves, or they are looking at their phones, almost to the point you think they are purposely doing it. Store doesn't accept any returns, EVEN if clearly unopened and unused items, so be absolutely sure you need what you are buying and you have a lot of time to kill since nearly everything is behind the counter and you need someone to get everything for you. The only good thing is that it's open 24/7. The only helpful guy there was a Latin guy that was trying to helping all the customers.

The guy working the register was one of the least helpful people i've ever met. they also told me over the phone (at 8pm) they could cut a piece of lumber for me, and, when i arrived via Uber, told me that service stops at 4pm. The unhelpful guy then told me whoever i talked to must have told me the time they stop cutting lumber for the day, as if i like wasting my time and money. He then shrugged as i walked out.
