"I was really looking forward to giving this business five stars because they came in quite handy, but the end of our interactions with them left a bad taste in my mouth. They were fairly efficient in getting a NY birth certificate apostilled in what I assume is record speed, hence the three star rating. The person we spoke with, who I assume is the owner, also assured us they could get our marriage certificate apostilled for us as quickly once we had it in hand to provide them. The main draw of this service was that it was a mobile one, meaning we were willing to pay a premium to have the documents picked up and delivered to our home. When it came time to get the second document apostilled, for some reason, after some back and forth, the person I was communicating with said they could come pick them up in the evening, but asked me to pick up the apostilled version from them at their apartment building. I find it odd for a business that markets themselves as mobile to ask their customers to essentially run an errand for them, especially given that we’re willing to pay additional money for the convenience of delivery. Confused, I asked for clarification on whether the mobile service was no longer an option, and was answered with links to other notary services and then was promptly ghosted. I can only assume it’s becasue they had offered a fairly steep discount on their $ or so sticker price to apostille our second document, which is a shame becasue we would have had no problem paying the sticker price if it would have avoided such poor service. I also found their communications in general all over the place and unprofessional. Anyways, I had a great experience with Bronx Mobile Notary & Apostille Service who was able to deliver the same mobile service and extremely quick turnaround at a much lower cost, in a much more professional manner."
