Would not recommend this place.. got there, they gave me menu that says "$5 Vita Malt". I ordered it, and cashier asked me to pay so gave her my credit card. She printed the receipt and asked me to sign. I took a look at the receipt and it said $12.. How does a $5 malt suddenly become $12?? Well she said it was taxes. But that's not how taxes works? Then she said the price changes at night.. I said well, can I get my money back then. Keep in mind, I have not been served the drink yet. She said they don't do refunds. I smiled and left the place. Obviously, I will report it to my bank. But still terrible service and they're also scamming hardworking folks.

Well first of all we waited an hour for our food. Once the food came we agreed that it was worth the wait. I got the goat meal, and jollaf rice. My friend got the catfish dinner with Coleslaw. Everything was so amazing! I would definitely recommend this restaurant. Just order your food way in advance, because it might be a long wait.

Love love Kobams. The pepper soup is great and the grilled tilapia and plantains is really nice as well. The owner and staff are nice and professional. Great ambience.

We came here around 10:30pm? on a Saturday night. Literally not a soul in the building other than staff which was awesome because I wasn’t in the mood to wait lol. I would come here just for the music alone, definitely puts you in a better mood. Our waitress was very polite and friendly. Bar was not available at the time we arrived. We were first given these small fried dough balls, slighty sweet. My bf really enjoyed these. They were no charge. We decided to try the Caribbean menu (they offer both Nigerian and Caribbean menus) and we were NOT disappointed. I ordered the curry chicken with coconut rice, fried plantains, and steamed cabbage. My bf ordered the jerk chicken, rice and peas, friend plantains and steamed cabbage. We waited about 25 minutes for our food and it was soooooo fresh and HOT! Whoever is back there cooking is putting their foot in this food. Everything was seasoned to perfection, food was PIPPING hot, which I appreciate. I’m sure you could put their curry on a boot...
