FAQ:
"Some of the best seafood in quite some time! Oysters were so fresh and the tuna and halibut were off the charts!! We also enjoyed excellent fried shrimp, lightly breaded and crispy. And the ceviche, OMG! So freaking good! Don’t overlook the awesome wine list too, you may not recognize the wines but perfect accompaniment for the food! Outstanding service too, ask for Forest."
"Great place to hang out. Oysters and ceviche to die for, can't miss those."
"Our first visit was all over the map. The mezcal-based cocktail was superb - really well-balanced and refreshing. I had a difficult time getting any coherent information about the east coast oysters available. This is a seafood restaurant, is it not? Information like that should be readily forthcoming and treated like they are serving up fine wine. I kind of gave up and asked the server to bring me "the two MA oysters and the two PEI oysters" knowing nothing about them. They were served with just lemon and cocktail sauce. No horseradish. No mignonette. At $3. a pop, a very disappointing experience. My husband's seafood chowder was delicious but took an inordinate amount of time to reach table, perhaps because the fish and mollusks are freshly cooked? The broth was not supper heavy, more like milk-based than a thick cream. The flavor was outstanding. My red snapper dish with the assorted vegetables and light sauce, was, again superb. On the other hand the fish and chips were inedible and were sent back. Right away my husband noticed the fries were soggy and oily, as if fresh oil had been used (a big no-no). Then I picked up a piece of the fish and my fingertips were almost dripping from the oil plus the fish didn't appear fully cooked. Maybe the fryer hadn't been hot enough either. He ended up ordering fish tacos as a substitute, which were fine but not his first choice. Please, please don't put an item on the menu if you can't successfully execute it!"
"Valentine's Day dinner of She-crab soup, scallops, sea bass, chocolate torte, and olive oil cake. All excellent with friendly service. Very good cocktails, too. Away from downtown but well worth the -minute drive."
"Ambiance was very nice, staff very friendly. Food was insanely good. We started with swishing peppers which were excellent, lightly coated with a fish sauce and roasted peanuts. Also shared a dozen mixed oysters, which were incredible, and came with a delicious house made sauce. For my entrée I had the scallop plate. They were lightly cooked to perfection, and the taste was off the chart. This was a great meal and a new favorite restaurant."
