"I started coming to the minute clinic 2 years ago. My past two visits were terrible. The last time I came, the doctor pricked me at least 5 times because she couldn’t get a vain (never had this problem). I swore I wouldn’t come again, but I did for an emergency appointment today. I requested a few things , the doctor Pegues, repeatedly insisted she would not do a dipstick for a uti considering my symptoms. I told her it’s what I wanted, and she said she would not. I asked to see another doctor, and they refused to take me as well. I’ve never had the issue of a simple dipstick. She had the worst attitude with me as well. She insisted that it was a courtesy to even take me due to me being minutes late. I’ve never been late but life happens. Regardless, who states this to a patient? Following this, I needed blood drawn and the nurse pricked me twice but this time she burst a vain, and stuck me until I screamed in pain. My arm has been sore for hours now. I don’t know, but I feel they need new doctors or individuals that know what they are doing to make sure patients aren’t uncomfortable or leave in pain. I won’t be back.. EVER."
"Hang up on you after waiting minutes to speak to someone and getting a Covid test is a hassle and they may cancel your appointment and lie about it or forget you had one."
"LaQuasha was super knowledgeable and helpful during my visit. I appreciated the level of concern and professionalism! I found it very helpful to schedule online makes the wait time shorter! Very clean and organized."
"Dont schedule COVID testing because they cancel it and dont let you about it."
"My son was brought to this location with severe vomiting and diarrhea and this is what happened: 1. Charged him well over his co-pay even thought it is clearly stated on his card his co-pay for urgent care is $ 2. The PA that saw him, took his temp, told him he was dehydrated and gave him a shot for nausea. NO POC (Point of Care testing) done at all. Then told him if he didnt feel better after hours to go to ER. In the room minutes at tops. My son is a college student and this office is close to his University. I wonder how often this happens. Over charging for copays when students probably dont know what they are supposed to pay. Then NO care was given. Wrong kid to do this to... I work in health care... any urgent care/minute clinic has the ability to do any of the following POC tests - Flu, Strep, CBC to see if there is infection, rapid mono, urinalysis, etc... On top of insurance fraud for knowingly charging the wrong co-pay. They completely took advantage of my son. Here is a yr old so sick he had his roommate drive him and he is treated like this. BTW...within hours he was in ER for about 8 hours receiving fluids and having bloodwork, ultrasound and many other tests done to him. By the time his girlfriend got him to the ER it took 3 tries for the nurse to get the IV started. This is completely unacceptable and not only will their corporate here from me, so will the NC Dept of Insurance!"
