I had just recovered from Covid but was still experiencing residual effects. The new term is "long-hauler." I had major hair loss, racing heart beat, slow circulation and insomnia. I have to admit I was a bit skeptical as I am in the medical field. However, I was willing to try anything as I had just lost my husband to Covid too. "I was never really afraid of testing positive for COVID, the only reason I was careful was for my parents safety and others around me. Unfortunately I ended up testing positive for it about two months ago. I experienced mild symptoms, the worst was feeling tired and lethargic, I had headaches come and go, I also lost my sense of smell and taste (that was weird and undesirable). "I woke up with a painful rash on my left torso. It was about 7 " wide and about 5" in height. I immediately went to see Dr. Cook and she confirmed my shingles outbreak.
