"The only Ethiopian food in Hampton Roads, I believe. The food is decently good. The running of the place is quite poor unfortunately: never picks up phone call for pick up orders, runs out of almost all veggies, takes a very long time for food. I keep wanting to believe in the place but it’s hard! I still go (again only Ethiopian) but I would really enjoy a better tan business (as a customer). If the food was “spectacular” I could probably forgive/forget the management side. Update Jan - Management must better"

"So this is the second time I’ve eaten here now. First was 4 years ago. And now I remember why I haven’t been back. First, on a positive note, Customer service is good though. Friendly and prompt. And very clean. So many people rate this place highly, and it makes me wonder if they have ever eaten Ethiopian food anywhere else. It does not compare. I’ve had it in multiple cities on both coasts and even in the home of Ethiopians. The injera is awful tasting. And they have removed one of their most famous dishes, Doro Wot. The menu is limited and what they do have to offer is so so, doesn’t make you wanting more. I guess I will continue to drive to Richmond/DC when I get the craving."
