"Just got reopened and the food is pretty good, if pricy. They have lots of Asian snacks and there is a food bar. The food bar charges by wait and has lots of random items: sushi, pasta, salad etc. There's a discount for students, so bring your student ID."
"I've been going here for a few months because they have good food. Yesterday I caught food poisoning due to bad potatoes that they served me. It's kinda my fault for not inspecting the food."
"Other than their items being a bit pricey, this place and the employees are decent. However, the older Asian woman that cashiers is very rude. I constantly come here to get an egg/roll sandwich and pay with card. She told me I needed a $5 min. to pay so I shared that that has never typically been enforced but I was fine with it. I proceeded to get fruit from the salad bar and got in line only to see her rushing to finish the purchase with the individual in front of me who was paying for a $4 sandwich with card. When I confronted her, she claimed it was because he was a student. I showed her my student ID and then she switched to saying it was because he was "right under" the minimum, which I was too. Then she goes to say it's because the machine wouldn't allow it (even though it did for the man in front of me and at many bodegas throughout NY). Very rude and unfair lady. Go to someone else at check out to receive a fair purchase and experience."
"This place is held hostage by the guy who makes the breakfast sandwiches early in the morning. I stopped coming here for 2 months due to the fact that he gets there whenever he wants and without him, no other worker can prepare food. Today I decided to go there’s and and boom, the guy isn’t in yet and won’t be there for another minutes. It’s 6:am in New York City and this place has nobody making breakfast still. I’m done."
"Made to order sandwiches are all excellent! BLT is hearty and delicious, and just $5. Other sandwiches equally tasty and $7. on a roll, $8. on a hero. Market is always very clean and modern."
