Hidden gem! Surprisingly delicious food in an unassuming little spot in midtown - wasn’t sure what to expect because the shop was quite empty (still pretty new!) when we initially arrived and the menus looked like takeout menu printouts, but was very impressed by the food! We ordered a garlic stir fried Chinese broccoli and the 冒烤鸭 which was essentially roast duck + other meats & veggies in a Szechuan hot pot-like soup base. The serving size was quite large and full of lots of add-ons (fish, pig intestines, spam, beef tripe, bean sprouts, Napa cabbage, etc.) - I was really happy with how flavorful everything tasted and it was not too heavy despite the soup base, probably because the ingredients and chili oil tasted very fresh. Service was fast, friendly, and they even gifted some free dessert that was a perfect subtly sweet end to a great meal. The only thing is that prices were a bit higher than I expected (perhaps more pricey than the ambiance would suggest), but I think it was de...

Was around the area looking for good Chinese food. Decided to try this place out because they have great reviews. Was a little disappointed. In all honesty, the food wasn’t bad but it wasn’t great either. I had better Chinese food at other restaurants. Most of the food here was a little on the bland side and needed more salt. Which is so weird since food in most Chinese restaurant are usually salty. Service was great though. The lady who was taking care of us was so nice. She always has a smile on her face. But would I come back? Probably not.

We had fish in a Mala sauce, pea leaves with garlic, and lotus root. All were quite tasty. We ordered a cold chicken dish afterward, but it wasn't the same quality as the rest. They did not charge for the chicken. But the rest of the food was really quite good.

The food is pretty good. Pretty authentic asian food..But remember to have some coins on you if you not using your credit card with how the tax is added. I posted my receipt so you will understand what I mean. Lol

The tripe and beef in chili oil was so good I ate two myself and the lamb chops were amazing. I think they were spiced with cumin. Kids liked the soup dumplings and the lo mein. The other adults enjoyed the chicken with broccoli and the scallion chicken. This restaurant is a great addition to the neighborhood. I'll be back with a more courageous group next time.
