Very charming and magical. For a small space, the town is huge in detail!!!! I highly recommend taking the time to enjoy the smaller things in life.

UNIQUE GEM WITH SUCH AMAZING DETAILS! This is one of those unique destinations that you'll either really be into or can do without it completely. I fall into the former group of individuals. I really enjoyed walking about this building filled with detailed cityscapes. At the beginning you can choose to participate (at no additional cost from the entrance fee) in a self-guided scavenger hunt. You'll receive a paper that includes various questions, causing you to dive into the detailed installation to find the answers. If you're one of the luck few (or not) and locate all the answers, you get a secret prize. I couldn't find one answer and the lady was like, "you're good, here's your surprise". I can see this being a great place to take a date or your children... if your children can handle their natural urge to tear apart something beautiful. :)

I am absolutely blown away; Garman is a genius! The buildings are incredible, there’s so much detail in the architecture, the material, the furnishings, wallpapers, you name it! From every line of each news paper to the bottles in the trash outside the bars, to the birdhouses on the windowsills, nothing is lacking in detail. Add to that the use of mirrors, lighting, holograms, and sound—it’s just an incredible experience. But what truly made me fall in love with his work is the life that is in every single scene. Just like in real life, every single one of the people in Magic Town has a story, a life, goals, and it shows. Facial expressions, posture, clothing, location, and whatever other je ne sais quoi in each scene truly makes this place magical.

My husband and I stopped on a whim. We where not disappointed. The girl who checked us in was so sweet and funny. You pay a small price and get to tour the most amazing little miniature town. Make sure you don't rush!! The scenes change! There is so much detail to take in. As a plus we decided to do the scavenger hunt. DO NOT pass this up!! At first we thought how silly. But we ended up having so much fun looking for everything! Make this a stop on your trip. It's good hearted fun.

A unique and truly magical experience! The time, engineering, commitment, creativity, and talent that is brought to life in this gallery is incredibly inspiring. The scenes are filled with infinite detail and most change right before your eyes. I wish I could’ve spent all day studying each one. Great for kids, adults, you name it. Special appeal for artists, history buffs, engineers and science enthusiasts, but I don’t know who would experience this and not be moved and amazed. Also great if your kids need a break from lots of hiking and want a more relaxed excursion. So much to see and enjoy but in a small space; very good for people looking for something to do with no walking. (It’s downtown so you may have to walk from your parking spot but that’s it.) They offer a scavenger hunt with admission and they vary so that each person is looking for different details. If you’re local, you could likely do this endlessly (I know I would). I was originally planning other more widely known in...

Short Features:

Sculpture museum with miniature scenes Unique venue with realistic, small-scale dioramas of city life rendered with special effects.

I was originally planning other more widely known indoor museums in Colorado Springs for our last day before flying out, but outside of the ghost town one, the others seemed like smaller versions of things we’ve seen in more robust settings. I am glad I kept looking, and found this truly one of a kind experience to round out our trip."
