Here are some reviews from our users.
"IT WOULD GET MORE STARS IF THE PRODUCTS ON THEIR WEB SITE WERE IN STOCK. I MADE A ITEM ORDER ON A FOOD DELIVERY SERVICE CALLED MERCATO AND 4 ITEMS WERE UNAVAILABLE. THEY DID CALL ME TO SEE IF I WANTED REPLACEMENT ITEMS BUT I MISSED THE CALL. THAT PART IS MY OWN DANG FAULT. JUST WAS SO LOOKING FORWARD TO THE CHICKEN PARM AND THE QUICHE."
"This place used to be a great little hub with a friendly atmosphere. I have been coming here for ages and I still like some of their products but the friendliness is completely gone! I presented my proof of vacation so I could sit upstairs, when I was given access to the sitting area one of the white ladies, whose name I don’t know but that I will be referring to as Karen, followed around the store and asked me with a very ghastly attitude what was my business in there. I had just purchased dollars worth of food and had the bag and receipt in hand. Throughout the whole time, I was eating she kept pacing back and forth in front of me as if I was about to steal something from them. I then asked her if she wanted to join me for dinner which she replied with a haughty attitude “No!” As a Latino-Middle Eastern, I felt on my skin that she was bothered by my presence and the pressure she was giving me was palpable, therefore I left and I am never returning. I hope nobody else experiences what experienced today not here or anywhere else! And to you Karen, I hope God blesses you! As for the market: I bet money on it that in your response to me you will mention how well diverse your staff members are and perhaps even accuse of mistaking. But the matter here isn’t diversity but compassionate attitude and friendliness which are no longer a part of your establishment."
"I learned a lesson from the largest business group in the world that a business has to have a feature which distinguishes them from everyone else in their field. With that being said, Lifethyme has crippled itself severely. By not having a bakery and no juice bar this has made them little more than a packaged goods store with vitamins and registers. For years I was willing to travel miles one way to partake in their delicious offerings of baked goods, now that there are no more baked goods there is nothing to distinguish them from their competitors. That in my opinion is a huge mistake Plus in a time when juice bars are opening up all over the boroughs they thought it was wise to close theirs. I no longer have a reason to travel miles going and coming to visit this establishment. I stood in the back and watched people walk to the bakery section look at what was offered and have the look on their face of well what is here? Nothing, so although the management is friendly and the gentleman in the front likes to sing reggae tunes it does not do much for making money in the store because people walk out disillusioned and are not spending the money they would have had those services been offered. Too many things are being canceled out with the excuse of covid but realistically speaking I think the excuse is laziness and complacency and the lack of understanding what people are desiring. They really should reconsider their no bakery decision as well as their no juice bar decision otherwise their competitors will eventually walk all over them. Vitamins alone won't make it because so many stores including the big stores like whole foods can offer vitamins and perhaps at an even better price but none of them offer fresh baked goods and whole foods doesn't even have a juice bar. And in fact a good vegan bakery can stand by itself as a business these days because there are so few of them if any that are around."
"Super kind, inviting, and helpful staff. Excellent products and superb quality of organic produce. Fair prices. Wish we had more LifeThyme shops in NYC!!!"
"My order could not be filled per the actual Vendor. I talked to customer service at Life Thyme both women were not at all friendly. No credit on my card yet. Will wait a few more days to see if it happens. I will NEVER order from them again."
