Great Rink. Best in uptown Manhattan! Ice-skating in winter and in summer it becomes a gorgeous pool. Great view of the lake as you swing or skate. Come to Lasker!

Don’t come here if you plan to skate. If you want to stand in a long line for now reason or to tell you they decide to close early, than it’s a great place to be treated unwelcome.

Looking for a more affordable place to take my 6,12, 13 & 15 year old daughters I was happy to discover this rink which is all the way up at the northern tip of central park. My first choice had been Bryant Park which is stunningly beautiful this time of year but at $33 a person for skates (they don't charge admission so if you have your own skates it's free but we don't) I just couldn't afford it. This rink although certainly not as nice as Bryant Park was just right for an hour or two of fun for all of us. Pros: half the price of Bryant Park (if you don't own skates) not overly crowded, no wait for tickets, locker or skates, rink is spacious lengthwise (but not as wide as Bryant Park), staff relatively friendly, easy parking along 110th street and short scenic walk down to the rink which is easy to find since you can see it from 110th street. Cons: locker rooms are very old circa 1970's (those interlocking black rubber floors are particularly nostalgic) restrooms are in bad shape an...

Overall I say save the money and go here!"
