"The pricing system is a scam. It’s a “par for the course” spa with pretty grounds and perfectly acceptable massages. That being said, it’s extremely expensive. A day usage fee is tacked on and then a % service fee is charged on absolutely every single line item. The craziest part is that they then charge tax on the service fee line item. Like I said, the spa was nice. The masseuses were attentive and polite. The grounds are well kept, but none of it is worth the price. My wife and I have visited multiple spas in town and on vacation. A couples massage typically costs between $ and $. At this spa, after all the fees, taxes and taxes on the fees it was $. Would not recommend. Way out of of the way and not worth it."
"Elegant surroundings at calm, quiet and peaceful Lake Austin. Splendid nature, pools and TX Hill Country setting. Not impressed by lunch or portions but pleased at the ability to enjoy a cocktail outside. Services were par but not quite as upscale as expected or received at similarly priced premium resort spas. Facilities were clean & sanitary. Facial was not as thorough nor was massage as rigorous as expected. Nice that they offered a discount on products if purchased same day. Complimentary gift bag was missing items and just “sorry we’re out” despite using a half-day spa certificate. Go for a service and enjoy glorious Texas nature in abundance as that was 5 ⭐️ star."
"The whole experience was very underwhelming. My husband bought me a spa day package for my Birthday. From the moment I walked in the front desk staff didn’t know much when I asked questions. I could hear the girl at the desk talking loud to her coworker about the computers being down for a few days and everything was a mess she says out loud. My lunch was given to the wrong table, they had one girl working and she was doing way to much that the service lacked big time(you can tell she didn’t want to be there at all) . My massages were not great the massage women didn’t even ask me how the pressure was or if I was liking it. The Pomegranate scrub was done and this women was yawning the whole time, you could tell and feel she didn’t want to be there. She did my massage so fast and stopped a lot of times to do who knows what. My facial was nice but the women was so aggressively pushy at the end with selling products, I told her I only needed a cleanser and she kept pushing. When I said I’m good just the cleanser she got frustrated and just stormed out, didn’t say a word just left angry lol. The women at the cafe kept exhaling heavy like she was overworked and didn’t want to be there. When I arrived the front desk staff didn’t set up cups for tea or anything in the blue waiting room until a lot later in the am around am ..the girl said she forgot to. You end up spending a lot here and the service defiantly doesn’t meet the price point. The food was not impressive either the portions were so small so you’re hungry all day get ready to be on a water infused diet bc you will leave hungry. The lady at checkout didn’t ask me about my experience at all or how my stay was.. just made sure to ask about the credit card on file. I wanted to spend more money to exercise & you can’t unless your staying at the hotel the women also rudely told me that at the desk by the gym. The gift shop women was also rude when I bought an overpriced one piece bathing suit. All in all I would never come back experience top to bottom was horrific. I actually couldn’t wait to leave, which I’m sad about because I’ve heard so many good things. I will defiantly be going elsewhere next time. If I could give less than one star I honestly would. I went 2// for reference. Also the steam room smelled , they say there is a eucalyptus aroma in there which there was not. Also they had chips with my sandwich which were no chips on a plate.they literally put chip crumbs on my plate. The whole thing came out to $ dollars and none of it was good nor worth the price point at all.I tired to like it but it ended up falling short on pretty much all aspects."
"Amazing and relaxing environment! We went for my "bachelorette party" as day spa guests. All my services were wonderful and the property is gorgeous. We had time to walk around or enjoy the hot tub and sauna. Loved my treatment from Jessika. She took the time to hear my concerns and actually recommended a chemical peel instead of my original treatment. She was able to recommend some products that have continued to improve my skin."
"Magical day trip; a short drive from downtown to a relaxing haven of pampering. The massages and treatments are wonderful but don’t skip the pool and lunch on the patio!"
