First of all, let me show you the REAL photos of Lake Myers to give you an idea of what you have to look forward to. The store and restaurant are barely ever open, the basketball nets are missing the rims and hoops, not to mention the mini golf is laughable. It was covered in rocks, leaves and was flooded. The pool is in desperate need of repair, and the kids slide had caution tape on it. The staff is unbelievably rude and will not address any issues when you need help, and the bathrooms are gross. The washers and dryers worked about half the time, and the lake is full of garbage. In addition to all of this, they do not maintain the property; there were campers that literally had trees through them. I took pictures of two of the four campers that had trees fall of them during a storm. It is not safe, it's not maintained, and I would avoid this place at all costs.

Checked in on Dec 31 for New Years. 2 nights $175.oo for them to shut it down at 11pm. Why open the park for New Years if you are only going to shut it down. Very disappointed ...Will think long and hard before going back.

The campground is quite pretty, and the residents are friendly. Unfortunately, this place seems to have water / septic issues. The entire campground lost water for 6-7 hours during a weekday, and there was some sewage back up as well. Not surprising as it sounds like the pipes were installed back in the 1960s. Three stars not because we had a bad experience, but rather, this place could use some serious TLC and overall is a tad below average.

FYI, 1) site B38 does NOT have sewer (along with another site on that loop). 2) sites B12 & B14 offer the potential of cars/campers getting hit by long campers due to tail swing. The office will not inform you of this, but full-timers in the park will. 3) There is a tree between sites B10 & B12 that has a lot of yellow jacket activity happening at the base of the trunk. The office was notified, but it looks like someone tried to unsuccessfully do something before, so it may still be an issue. If you like the active party-type campground, this it it. On the weekends in particular, you’ll hear lots of loud music right up to 11 PM, sometimes from bands as well as individual sites. Lots of golf carts zipping around, in spite of the tight one-way roads, which are not observed. The campground is well maintained, but of the older variety. It’s not really built for today’s larger rigs. That being said, they have a lot of nice amenities and is good for kids. We were told that the managem...

Overall 1 star which is probably even a stretch. Thursday we drove an hour to check in at lake Myers for a trip we scheduled back in June. When booking I specified our camper was 36ft with 3 slides and was told ok great we definitely have a spot and I paid the deposit. Upon arrival they put us in a 15ft pop up sight. When I called the lady at the front desk assuming she is the manager said well I don’t think we have anything else and proceeded to argue that it wasn’t there fault because evidently the call center is located somewhere up north and they have no clue the size of the campsites. Ok not my problem that you employ people that know nothing about your campground. Also the swimming pool was closed and the slide advertised on their websites has very clearly been closed for at least 3-5 years judging by the growth over it. The place was a total dump. We would’ve done better parking at a land field for the weekend. Luckily we went down the street to Midway who took excellent care of...

The staffers working the desk are not very flexible when it comes to helping you. If you’re a Thousand Trails member, and you ask to move to a more accommodating site, they will site the rule, “we’re not allowed to move Thousand Trails members from assigned sites.” We’re assuming that’s Lake Myers’s rule since we’ve never heard of that at other Encore resorts."
