"The Rezz show was amazing! The venue was great and staff was very friendly and helpful as well! Best spot is upstairs at center. Great view and usually less crowded. It is such a plus that they have a bar and bathrooms upstairs as well."
"Went to three shows here in early . The only real pro about this venue other than the sheer existence of the venue itself is the Mikey’s Late Night Slice inside which is super awesome and fairly priced. The staff are generally friendly as well. There are two major cons with this venue. The first being the absolutely excessive amount of time it takes to get people inside. It’s so frustrating when we get to the venue minutes after doors open, there’s still a line wrapped around the building to the parking lot and we end up missing most of the first act. And the next concert we figured we learned our lesson and got there about an hour before doors opened and we still didn’t get inside until right before the first act, I.e., an hour or more outside waiting to get in no matter how early you get to the venue. The other major con to this venue is the layout/construction of the standing room as it’s set up in a way that unless you are literally right up front to the stage, right on the bar above the pit, in a balcony seat, or 6’6”+ (not exaggerating) you cannot see the stage. Thus, % of the occupants have no ability to see the stage. This problem would likely be fixed if they raised the stage a bit, but it could’ve been prevented if there was more of a tiered layout to the standing room. Every venue of this size and capacity should take notes from St. Louis’ The Pageant. I alluded to it above, but it is genuinely awesome that a venue like this exists in Columbus, but there are definitely improvements that need to be made in order to make it a top tier music venue in its class."
"The security/staff were terrible. People were packed so tightly that they couldn't move and that they were passing out and staff did nothing, I'm not returning to this venue"
"I saw Rezz on Saturday 3//. I go to a lot of concerts and am used to crowded spaces. This show had to have been over sold. There was a wall of people from the stage to the back of the venue. It was impossible to move around and not a spot in the house that I could see the stage. Honestly, it didn’t feel safe. Towards the end of the show, someone was seizing or OD’ing in the bathroom. While the EMTs were working to help the poor girl, the venue workers still allowed others to use the women’s bathroom. My girlfriend was traumatized walking in and seeing the unexpected mess. She was so disturbed we had to leave. The photo below was taken during one of the opening DJ’s. I had to hold my phone over my head to be able to take the shot."
"Great show, line moved along quickly which was nice because of how cold it was. Overall it was a good time. My only complaint is that someone threw up during the openers set, and no staff even attempted to clean it. Someone from the crowd threw some napkins over it.. wouldn't have been hard to drag a mop out there to spot clean it."
