Casey is phenomenal. He really helped me figure out a tough project I had (repairing and repainting old IKEA kitchen cabinets) and he really knows his stuff. Some of the other people there are cool, but I felt I got really expert knowledge from Casey. He helped me start the ball rolling on home improvement painting projects and I’m so glad he was there when I came in. Oh, I will add, as a woman not every home improvement place feels good. Some talk down to me, some don’t know what they’re talking about and pretend they do. Casey really made me feel I could tackle this project.

Janovic is the ultimate resource for household decorating and painting as well as window coverings. My wife and I recently purchased Hunter-Douglas wooden blinds for all of our windows at the Janovic store at 1491 Third Avenue on Manhattan's Upper East Side. Ray Castro at the store, who was very knowledgeable, professional and easy to work with, helped us choose the right color; arranged measurements; and then their installation in our home. For other décor questions we worked with Roberta Levine who is Janovic's Décor and Design Manager. She was simply superb in helping us in every way throughout the process. So, the store gets our highest rating for quality, price and a wonderful staff.

Amazing service and expertise. Casey was awesome. Walked me through a project, start to finish. I will not go anywhere else. By the way, I’ve tried other locations and this one far outpaced the others.

I went into the Janovic store on 4th Ave and received excellent customer service! The person that assisted me was Samantha. She was awesome! She went above and beyond to answer all of my questions and even set me and my business up with a Janovic account. I’ll highly recommend going into this store if you have a painting project. Samantha really knew what paint types to recommend to me and what was necessary for me to purchase to get my project done. I’m happy to have stopped in there today. Thanks!

I had a painting project that I wasn't sure how to execute, so I went to Janovic today for supplies and advice. Casey took the time talk through the project, and he explained step by step how to complete it. He also made sure I had the right supplies for the job, and nothing that i didn't need (for instance, he told me that the primer I already had would be just fine). His instructions were so straightforward and clear that I left the store with full confidence that I could do the job...and I did! I highly recommend Janovic - I really can't imagine why I'd ever go anywhere else. The prices are competitive and the customer service is second to none!
