"Took Iphone in for a screen replacement repair on 3//. Repair was fast, within minutes. Original price was quoted at , when returned was told it would take another $ due to a particular hardware component that needed replacement. After taxes, . After replacement, screen did work but was very sensitive to even the slightest touch & Apple’s message would appear “unable to verify this iPhone has a genuine Apple display”. On 4//, I applied some rubbing alcohol on a dry napkin to clean the screen in which many people do to clean the device. The screen went haywire as if the solution went right through the screen. I have done this many times over the years with many mobile devices with manufacture screens with no issue. That speaks to the quality of the screen. 4/, took the device into the store to explain the situation. I was offered the price of $ for replacement screen. Store support mentioned that this happens from time to time and he has seen the issue before.
