Came here without having an appointment, was still let in and the owner spent half an hour with me explaining differences in speakers, amplifiers, players, and demoing several setups. Definitely will be buying from here! Oh and the owner had a dog that is super friendly and guides you in the process of picking the best sounding speakers 😅

Not sure who I just spoke to on the phone, but I’ll definitely never be coming here or considering them again after the way I was just spoken to. They’re listed as an authorized repair center for a brand of speaker I’d like repaired and was simply asking about this…. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

Over the last 3-4 months, I've bought a Naim Uniti Atom, and (for a separate music system) a pair of DeVore Fidelity Super Nine speakers from In Living Stereo. I visited the store about a half dozen times, to make sure I was making the right decision on my purchases. Steve patiently walked me through the ins-and-outs of each of the speakers I auditioned, played about 2 hours (collectively) of music of my choice, and never once upsold, pressured, or was dismissive of me. Steve is a gentleman, and hugely knowledgeable. The products he sells are top notch. The listening rooms are sublime. I would go just to hang out with Murphy (the dog)... In the world of hi-fi audio, there are numerous used-car-salesmen, phony marketing gimmicks, and products of questionable quality. By contrast, In Living Stereo is a breath of fresh air.

Called ahead to make a reservation, as suggested by others in the reviews. Was told that "we are far too busy just to have someone browsing" in here. (Guess I should have read the other reviews more closely). Very rude and unprofessional and short on the phone. How did they know that I might make a purchase if I was able to browse and actually hear the equipment? They just lost a potential customer. Snobs. This kind of attitude is killing the hobby.

I was looking to upgrade my system and walked into the store without an appointment. Steve spent more than an hour demonstrating equipment for me. He made recommendations which I agreed with. They were spot on. When the components were delivered he helped with the set up. Great store and great service. The system sounds great in my home.
