They let to many people in the venue. When the headliner band came on. It was to crowded no where to stand to even get a view. There was no way to walk around. Thank God there were no emergency. It would have been bad. I should have gotten some pics. But it was way to crowded

Went here for a concert it is a decent venue nice restrooms the set up was nice as well. The top floor is a restobar where you can see the stage and the ground floor has a spacious dance floor and a bar. I gave 4 stars because I haven’t tried their food yet. And don’t quote me on this i think you can book the place exclusively and if you’re a frustrated artist this might be your chance to showcase your skills or talent.

I love this venue, I just wish the step and repeat was lit up for photos but the service at the bars is always excellent and you can see the stage from anywhere in the venue. The folks working the door are quick and very kind.

This was my first time at a concert for the House of Blues. This is a a overcrowded standing only event. Needless to say if I decide to attend another concert it will be for VIP tickets only that grant access on the second floor with stool seating and tables. I did like the intimacy of the experience with the artists.

Great venue for more direct and intimate music in San Diego. House of Blues is the perfect mix of up-close intimacy, great sound, and rowdy crowd fun. Seeing a concert at the House of Blue's gets me close enough to really see the performance live; stop going to concerts where you spend all your time staring at projection screen! At House of Blues you can see the full performance - every inch of the stage and the intensity on the performers faces. The sound system is good. I heard the highs clear and felt the thump of the base - and none of the thunder from ten thousand voices and echos reverberating off the stadium walls. And yet, you still get the energy of a live music crowd. It was big enough to get charged up with the crowd singing along and cheering. We were up in balcony seats and were 10 steps away from a full bar. So sweet not to have to leave the show and wait 10 minutes in line to order beer in a plastic cup. I love live music; I will not go to stadium shows any more.

Short Features:

New Orleans-style food & rock music Rock- & blues-themed chain with Southern dishes such as po' boys & jambalaya, plus live music.
