"The people working at this hotel seem nice but the hotel itself is grimy. The room I was in needed some upgrading and a deep cleaning. The room's AC was one of the loudest I've ever experienced, and one of the hotel's two elevators was out the entire time I was there, which resulted in + min waits for the elevator. At one point I took the stairs down flights instead of waiting. Again the employees were friendly and accommodating but the building itself is lacking. Location is good though."

"My wife and I went to Memphis this past weekend to get away for a little while. The hotel was definitely very close to Beale Street, and very walkable, even in the early hours of the morning. When we first checked into Room (just before midnight), the fitted sheets on the bed were stained. We called the front desk and explained the situation. She was super nice and quickly brought new (warm out of the dryer) sheets to our room to replace everything on the bed. The room and bathroom were very clean otherwise, and the location felt safe for being in Memphis (Room key was needed to get in and out of the parking garage, onto the elevators from the parking garage or lobby, and into the hotel after PM). Erica at the front desk was super nice on Friday night and provided recommendations for where we should visit, directions for the best way to get to Beale St, and also gave us a late check out. Overall, for the money, I would definitely stay here again when I come back to Memphis."

"Staff was courtesy and helpful. The room was decorated in a cool mid-century motif with a little rock-n-roll throw in. Not a 5 rating though. We had a premium room with table and chairs, refrigerator, counter with sink in the living area. However, there was no microwave. Room was perfectly setup for eating in. Not a very big deal as we planned on not spending a lot of time in the room. Just felt like it was missing something. Also, no hangers at all. Another negative was the corridors and cleanliness. The corridor ceiling was sheets of plain plywood painted??? The designers spent a lot of time on the rooms and then raw painted plywood in the hallway. The room was fairly clean with some dust issues (actually plaster residue on the TV and shelves). Plus the lobby floor was horrible when we checked in. With all this said, I would still stay at another Hotel Indigo; but, not in Memphis."

"Parking was convenient because the elevator in the garage took you straight up to your room floor, after check-in. I felt secure that all access to the hotel was by using your room key card, elevator included. The lobby was clean and the clerks were welcoming and nice. The room is very spacious, but I did not like that it did not have a microwave. (We did pay for a room with a refrigerator, thankfully). You had to go back down to the lobby/snack area to use the microwave. Once we were settled for the night after returning from the Grizzlies game, we had more time to observe. Sadly, The floors were dirty, looked as though they hadn’t been mopped in a while. Coffee was dripped all across the floor, dirty/stained areas throughout and there were some crumbs on the rug under the bed. Something was spilled all down the wall by one of the nightstands and was even on the baseboard. When I went to shower the handle just fell right off. I was able to just slide it back onto the knob, but then it took some strength to even turn it on. I then noticed hair in the shower, on the shower glass and even on the sink. The foot step in the shower looked old, rusted and not welcoming to clean feet. The shower head was huge with decent pressure, but it had rubber missing from some of the holes so water went wherever it wanted. The desk chair definitely hasn’t been wiped down and sanitized in awhile. It was dirty with handprints and other smears. But the bed was comfy and the pillows weren’t too bad. For the price I would’ve expected a much cleaner room, but the size, location, and staff were all a plus."

"Great hotel, the staff was WONDERFUL, the woman at the front desk was genuinely the nicest person I’ve met on our trip so far (and we’ve met a lot of nice people)! The restaurant was great, wonderful bartender, the rooms were clean, comfy and cute. The parking situation was perfect, we are moving cross-country with a van full of stuff, so the key-card access parking garage felt secure - plus it was probably the cheapest hotel parking in Memphis. When I went to check-out, it seemed like the whole hotel staff was there saying good morning to each other - they were all so kind and each said hello to me. We will definitely be staying at Hotel Indigo for future visits to Memphis!"
