"Quick, easy, tasty, fresh seafood meals. This area doesn't have many fresh modern choices to eat at. Hook Fish Co is an exception. It's a bit pricey, but if you want quality seafood, it's just what you have to love with. Nice patio area for seating as well. After lunch, it's a short walk to the beach where you can take in the beautiful scenery! Awesome experience. Will definitely be back to visit this place again!"
"Really tasty food! We loved the grilled fish salad and the deep fried fish pieces with chips. It was quite busy, but our food came quickly! There was also not a lot of seating because of how busy it was. We went on a weekday night."
"Outer Sunset establishment featuring fresh fish! They have built an awesome outdoor seating area that was especially nice on a sunny day after a long walk on Ocean Beach. I tried the grilled rock fish tacos on corn tortillas - fully gluten free. Overall the fish and avocado were good while the corn tortilla was a tad mushy. Chips and pico were delightful - very fresh! My husband had the fish burrito and thinks it is the best one in the city! Good selection of drinks including a gf cider. It was busy when we were there, but waiting min was a-okay given the sun."
"We ordered the Black Cod Salad as well as Fish & Chips. I enjoyed both but was surprisingly impressed with the salad. The fish was delicious and it came with a really nice crema and a nice vinaigrette. The breading of the fish had a light lemony taste to it."
"First time here. The food is GREAT!!!! Stopped at Hook Fish Co. For an early dinner in a Monday evening about 4 PM. It is a small shop. They do have a large parklet but no cover. You can't enter so the ordering and register is set up out front. I ordered the Cerviche with tortilla chips and the 2 pc Fish & chips. The cerviche was a mix of pieces of white fish, salmon, orange, shrimp, jalapeno and cilantro. You get a good amount. Super tasty. You have the choice of 2 or 3 pieces. I selected 2 and glad I did. The pieces aren't large but they are Thick and flavorful. After the cerviche it was more than enough. The fish batter was not heavy but the fish was so moist it lost it's crispiness after sitting while I ate the cerviche. Definitely, will be back for the cerviche. Check out their menu when you can."
