Here are some reviews from our users.
"Homey exceeded my expectations. We lunched during the spring break of IU. Food came out rather quickly. The soup based was rich and I got all of these for the hot pot only $. My friend went with all you can eat Sushi. Chatted with the owner - a lovely lady from my hometown province. Will definitely go back!"
"They make the food right in front of you but I was still concerned about quality. I didn't get sick and everything was ok it just a bit bland, and I felt like the management staff was watching my every move, which was not Homey. I also had a dirty spoon, which made me uncomfortable. I did not use the spoon to eat, but the fact that dirty things were laid out was a big red flag to me. I was surprised that I didn't get sick after eating here. All I had was sushi"
"My partner and I have come here several times because the atmosphere is wonderful, the staff are nice! They always make wonderful food, that tastes amazing!"
"This place gave me a food baby. $ for all you can eat sushi and hot pot."
"Five stars for the sushi! This was my first time visiting homie/homey hotpot. I've read some mixed reviews about the sushi but my boyfriend and I thought it was great. He contemplated getting all you can sushi and hotpot but ended up just getting sushi. I got sushi and a very large bowl of hotpot. They are still cooking everything in the back which is fine but they are still pacing everything like it's still a hotpot place. In Hong Kong, we would spend a couple of hours cooking our own meals around a hotpot but since their ventilation system is broken, they have to cook everything in the back. So, instead of spending a couple of hours there it's much faster but the employees still treat it like it was a slower paced "actual" hotpot place. It took us awhile to get the check but since it was still noon there weren't many customers waiting to get a table. We will definitely be back for the sushi. I can see how it can be a long wait for sushi during busy nights though."
