A customer had hired us to do work in both of their bathrooms in a home that has only been standing for less than 4-5 years. This is their shower bench in the master bath see pictures attached. This customer lives on Woodland Drive in the Heritage Preserve community. If this is the type of quality Fischer Homes stands behind I question the overall quality of workmanship in these homes. No waterproofing in either bathroom and the shower bench was pitched back towards the exterior wall by a 1/2 inch which in return makes a puddle and quickly causes leaks. As you can see in the photos not only was there no waterproofing used but no tile bonding to the cement boards. Waterproofing either sheet membrane or liquid membrane has been around for over 10 years now and has been a standard in bathroom builds. Hope they start doing better work in the future and not cut corners like this. Can only imagine how many other homes in this community and many others are the same way! I would hope a big na...

Went to tour as we're looking to build. The older blonde lady was extremely unfriendly. She was SO caught off guard that we walked in without an appointment. When another couple walked in that didn't have an appointment she was very bubbly and nice to them. It's okay, we'll take our money elsewhere. Never judge someone based on age, these houses were well within our price range!

It's called Heritage "Preserve". It's advertised as "live with nature". However, nature is not being preserved. The "preserve" consists of a few ponds, a few small wooded areas, and some random strips of unmowed grass. The walking path is littered with garbage and dead animals. The wildlife that once thrived in this area is being pushed out and dying off from the pollution and garbage. They spray chemicals (for weeds and bugs) on the common grounds, even right up next to the ponds. I've seen dead turtles, snakes, and even a cat wrapped in a t-shirt and dumped along the trail. The construction crews are dumping garbage and debris on the areas marked as conservation area. It's also becoming dangerous to walk on the trails. This neighborhood is used as a cut through. They fly through the neighborhood and don't stop at stop signs. I've seen cars on the waking paths and tire marks in the conservation area. They've also made Davis rd more dangerous. They had to put in a roundabout, since th...

My husband and I had a wonderful experience with Fischer Homes so far. Travis was so patient with us every step of the way and met with us over 8 times, he was always so helpful and answered any and every question we had. His customer service skills are excellent! We loved working with him! Jennifer at the design center was also very helpful and took the time needed to ensure we were 100% satisfied with our selectons! I'm looking forward to moving into my new home:) Thank you Travis and Jennifer for all you do!

Although we did not actually get to build with Fischer Homes, we went through much of the process with Travis Constance. There were so many restrictions on what we could build and where it could be built , it became a very frustrating process. Travis was very helpful and did every thing in his ability to alleviate our concerns and frustrations. He was very responsive to my regular calls and concerns. He made the process a pleasant experience and should things work out in the future, the service we received would give me the confidence to proceed with Fischer.

I would hope a big name builder would want to know what kind of workmanship is being done as this is to bring light to the horrible work that has been done and to prevent further mistakes."

They had to put in a roundabout, since they can't be bothered to wait to leave the neighborhood. Now people use it as a launching pad to drive at speeds near mph on Davis. It's sad to see this area decline like this and it's only getting worse as they plan to destroy all the open land near Roberts rd. Do we really need more houses, apartments, and shopping centers? No, but developers need more money in their pockets."
