Here are some reviews from our users.
"Staff here is terrible, the way they act is as if they have to push boulders through the hallway all day. I asked a lady for a plastic ware, she backs away as if I was going to attack her or something and tells me to use the phone."
"This is just nuts. My doctor reviewed some test results and told me to go to HF West Bloomfield for initial work up. Good staff, competent care, but I wanted to be transferred to Downtown since a long inpatient treatment was being considered. All the work up was done. HFH declined a direct admit so I was placed in the cattle chute. I was told there were plenty of beds on service. I have waited 6 hours without treatment and was told I'm still # in line for a medical resident to examine me and write admission orders. All the preliminaries are done and I'm cooling my heels. If HFH won't staff properly, it should lose its accreditation."
"Terrible experience at the hospital ER. I understand this hospital can be overwhelmed and time can take it’s course, but having proper misconduct take place is unacceptable. When you push and shove with words then they expedite their services, then my experience was to reconsider being treated there and before you know it- discharge papers we’re already in hard copy in my hands. And the vital portals were already pulled!! Before this I had spoken to a doctor who recommended my mom staying, then a nurse came by and we told her that, she then comes around again with the papers and pulling the vital cords and said that she thought the doc was told by us we wanted to leave! It’s okay to be remorseful not being understanding of a patients dilemma on staying, but completely unacceptable to assume discharge is what’s next and going ahead and processing it. Terrible place to be and I feel bad for who walks in that doesn’t know what goes on behind the scenes."
"Absolutely the worse ER..Staff is lazy..unprofessional. non caring...Henry Ford Fairlane is the best. High Blood pressure waited 5 hours still not in a room..Stroke protçol isn't valid unless your bottom number is over "
"Trust me when I say there's valid reason why this place has really poor reviews, I'd rate 0 if it let me. Won't go into specific detail but my whole experience was absolutely horrible throughout, from start to finish, literally every single aspect was bad. And even once staff were made aware, it did not get better in the slightest. The staff is fake nice and even quite rude, doesn't listen to their patients concerns at all, rarely checks on patients even when the button is pushed, won't take responsibility of any wrongdoings/issues that occur, lacks sympathy and care for patients, and the list goes on. When I brought all the issues up to two different staff members, they gave scripted responses, clearly didn't care, and gave an excuse for everything I said, as if I'm in the wrong for having a horrible experience? And the notes on my visit online were both written inaccurately and downplayed the issues I stated, which clearly shows they weren't hearing/understanding me at all. PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THIS EMERGENCY ROOM YOU WILL REGRET IT."
