Listen up ppl! Once you start coming, you will not be able to find another local spot with authentic Hawaiian culture and taste! The owner Lauren, brings the knowledge and delicate traditions from her island of Oahu straight to the South Austin! You can’t go wrong with Loco Moco at breakfast time, Teriyaki Musubi for a quick lunch/snack, or the BBQ Shoyu Chicken for dinner. Don’t sleep on the Mac Salad or the Li Hung Pineapples; fantastic options for each dish! Be sure to check the website before you order to ensure your food item isn’t sold out for the day since their hours are dependent upon the food they sell! Enjoy 😉

I am a lifelong fan of L&L but I have to admit, this place is even better. It’s amazing!!!! The BBQ chicken is delicious. The Mac salad is perfect. If you like good Hawaiian food you’ll love this place.

Tried to go there today however they were not open and did not mention why. I attempted to contact them however no effort was made to contact me back. Unprofessional business. Reply to owner below: I just contacted my friend to make sure I wasn’t crazy. You definitely did not have 7/27-28/22 listed on your website yesterday. All it said was that you can close without further notice. I would be more “understanding” of the situation if you didn’t try to gaslight me and make me look like a fool by adding the closing dates after the fact then replying to my review in that aggressive manner. But I digress. Shootz brah. 🤙🏻

Phenomenal food & even more phenomenal customer service. The lady who ran the food truck was so spritzy and kind-hearted. She really left a great impression on me, and the food was excellent to match it. Can’t ask for more!

Stopped on an impulse and definitely glad we did! The staff are so pleasant and kind, and the food is delicious. We got the teriyaki musubi (so hot and fresh that we had to wait to eat it), li hing pineapple (very refreshing), mac salad (tasted so fresh, with a hint of sweetness), and the butter mochi. The butter mochi was absolutely the icing on the cake! It had such a delightful taste and I'm tempted to go back and buy a whole pan. :) Definitely looking forward to going back and trying some of their poke options on our next visit.
