Out of all days it's almost 9am and they're not open and not to mention all the employees are standing outside looking as if they were homeless. I didn't know they worked until someone said they were not open and it's a smell coming from the street outside the store. I won't be shopping here again

I honestly don’t know how the city hasn’t shut this location down. Food is ALWAYS expired. Meat, produce and even packaged food. Today the woman at the deli counter wasn’t wearing gloves while she was touching meats and cheeses. I walked right out.

They're expensive but they are well stocked. Quiet and orderly interiors. You can ask if you can not find anything. They're conveniently located and has very good service.

I live upstairs from Gristedes. When I moved in to my apartment, over two years ago, I first thought it’d be extremely convenient and my go-to place. It turns out that their everyday products (which can be found at any ordinary supermarket) are extremely overpriced for no reason. On top of that, the space is outdated and not even nice/ pleasant to shop at…they seem to be stuck in the 90’s!! It sucks to have a grocery shop right downstairs from your building but wanting to avoid it at all costs!!! I only go there when I’m in a rush or too busy to go to somewhere else. Stop ripping people off!!
