"The best linguisa in the country. Chunky and juicy - like we used to eat at Avó’s (Grandmother’s) in the s. Just the right flavor, just the right mixture of meat chunks and fat chunks. When many other sausage makers have gone to finely ground meat and fat and even added non-meat fillers, Goulart’s use of chunky ingredients has kept their product true to tradition and tastiness. I load up on it when I’m on the left coast and bring it home with me. The Caetanos, proprietors of Goulart’s, will also ship. Their linguisa is the closest to that which I ate on the Azores Island of Pico when I visited there a couple of years ago. Stop by or call them to order - you’ll be glad you did."
