"WOW SO MANY GOOD THINGS TO SAY ABOUT THIS COMPOUND AND THOSE THAT HELP MAKE IT RUN, I MUST SAY THAT I FOUND MYSELF SLEEPING OUT ON THE STREETS HUNGRY, DIRTY, LONELY, AND WITHOUT NOTHING BUT A SLEEPING BAG, I FOUND MYSELF WALKING IN TO FATHER JOE'S VILLAGE OFF IMPERIAL IN DOWNTOWN, TO WHERE I WAS VERY THANKFUL FOR CLAUDIA TO ENDORSE TO GOLDEN HALL TO WHERE I WAS WELCOMED BY MANY, INTO A HOMELESS SHELTER, I REALLY DIDNT KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT OTHER THAN I WAS REALLY GLAD THAT I WASNT ON THE STREETS, SO I WAS REALLY GREATFUL TO THOSE THAT TOOK PART IN HELPING THOSE LIKE MYSELF TO FIND SHELTER, THANK YOU MAYOR AND CITY OFFICIALS FOR HELPING MAKE THIS PLACE RUN. BLESSINGS TO ALL THAT HAVE A HEART FOR THOSE THAT ARE HAVING A HARD TIME IN LIFE"

"Good morning community. I would like to add to this review and say a few good things about this place and the history that it bring to San Diego. I do know that many families coming out of this place with a life changing experience. I am very happy to say that I have been apart of that experience. Along with many others as well. The things that could take place here and all the memories that one could hold one to will last a life time. So for those that make that happen and those that have brought there gifts to this place is well appreciated in the eyes of many in the community and those that are visiting"

"Wow, what a classic environment! This venue really needs to be remodeled in a very big way. Perhaps it should even be bulldozed and rebuilt, if needed at all! The main hall is very expansive and holds many many people. It does not smell inside of the venue however it does look as though it is decades old. Parking for big events is truly a nightmare and should be avoided at all costs."
