The spicy eggplant was good! It's strange that rice and bread are considered extra AND that they cost $4 and $5 respectively. Does anyone eat Baingan Bharta without rice or bread? It's like going t...

"If visiting or in DC area, make sure to check it out! Cozy & laid back vibes, very fun cocktails, and the food is FLAVORFUL. I love that its authentic indian food, and I love that its a family owned business. The owners are locals & also appreciate good food. Theyll even recommend you other amazing places to try. The recipes they use must be family tradition because it is just as good as my moms cooking no exaggerations"

"well, firstly i had expectations for the food but i was disappointed. the masala fries were cold and i waited over an hour for my food. the chicken on the sandwich was dry and the samosas was probably better than everything else. also the staff that “helped” me was not very friendly at all. don’t think i’ll be going back."

"The spicy eggplant was good! It's strange that rice and bread are considered extra AND that they cost $4 and $5 respectively. Does anyone eat Baingan Bharta without rice or bread? It's like going to subway and being charged separately for the bread. It tasted good, but it was expensive. What's in the picture cost $. You also have to walk up a steep stairway to order your food, so this place doesn't seem handicap accessible at all. Thankfully, they do bring the food down to you after you order and pay."

"I just went for the first time after their re-opening. I got the fried paneer and the butter chicken, both were great and hit the spot, even had a little kick to it. This place is family owned and they’re super friendly. I’ve always wondered why the patio seems quiet, but it’s because you order upstairs and there’s a separate dining room there."

"Went here today for a meal with friends, overall a pretty below average experience, food was expensive and not of great quality (crab fries are frozen fries?), Samosas are all pastry and that's it, the tamarind sauce was watery. I do feel like glasseys has a good foundation for being a good restaurant but need to reassess its prices as the quality of food and service is definitely not reflected, "home style" shouldn't be an excuse."
