"Unprofessional and uncommunicative. Short version: Once I sent my deposit, the artist did not confirm it was received/appointment was booked and also stopped responding to me completely. Very frustrating. I emailed the shop with a tattoo request and was given the name & contact info for an artist, Rachel Lu. After contacting Rachel she gave me info for how to secure my appointment with a deposit.. once I sent the deposit I asked for her to confirm receipt of deposit and that the appointment was set. No response. Then a few days later I asked for her cancellation/reschedule policy ( it was not provided at the time of booking, and it isn’t listed on the website or social media).. no response. Then I emailed again and asked for response to both of my emails… yet again, no response. I checked the shop site which stated there’s no phone # so I emailed the shop letting them know I hadn’t heard from Rachel and they said they’d let her know I reached out. Then only did I get a response from her saying its non refundable but we can reschedule the appointment if needed and the deposit will still apply… at this point im already frustrated w the lack of communication and I asked for a refund since her policy isn’t listed anywhere and she hadn’t been responsive.. her response: “no sorry.” So I emailed again laying out this ^ timeline and expressing that I am frustrated by this whole situation… no response. I emailed laying out the timeline again, this time copying in the shop email, and I still have yet to receive a response from Rachel or the shop. This has been very frustrating. I booked an appointment, with a deposit, and then received zero communication from the artist. Completely unprofessional and I wouldn’t recommend her or this shop to anyone."

All of the artists I met were extremely talented and easy going. I got my work done by Chris Romolini and hands down would recommend him to anyone who's looking for work done in his styles! He made the process of getting my first tattoo, which seemed full of unknowns & uncertainty, incredibly positive and easy. I cant wait to continue my 1/2 sleeve with him."
