"Horrible, went to store to return item. The card I had purchased the items with had been compromised after the original purchase and when I returned the items (over $) they told me that needed to refund it to the original card. Explained that I had a new card but they insisted it go the old card. Called there office and told me I can get a gift card or a corporate check and return to the store. Tried calling and they simply don't answer. Called corporate and no better response. So now they have an extra $ dollars in flooring and I have zip."

"Terrible customer service experience! This will be my first and last time trying to buy anything from this store.. I ended up spending a lot of time trying to get the status of online order and transfer it to another site and it didn't happen. .. I ended up cancelling my order."

"I have to give this store 1 star even though they have a good selection of floor items but their treatment and management attitude is very bad, especially when returning goods. Two weeks ago I went to Floor & Decore store at Penasquitos Dr., San Diego to buy NuCore vinyl and floor tiles for my sqf home project, the employee suggested to me not to worry as I can buy more than the space I need it because I can return the leftovers. It sounded reasonable so I bought some extra. My project was completed two weeks later and I had some vinyl boxes of unused left. When I brought those boxes to the store, the employee called the manager and said that the boxes were opened at the end and they couldn't let me return them. I explained that when I bought them, there were also some boxes that were opened or torn like that and I think it is very normal for construction materials boxes during loading or unloading, the boxes open at the end but they are still unused. Furthermore, I was not explained by the counter staff that an opened box cannot be returned during I checked out. The store manager who named "Jeremy" keep said that the boxes was opened and he did not receive it back. I asked the manager I didn't see a note telling the customer that "opened boxes are not returnable"? He said it was written and led me around the store but couldn't point me to any note that said so. I said my project is done so what should I do with this leftover boxes if I can return them, both of them replied at the same time: "throw it in the trash!". I had to bring back the extra boxes in frustration after that. The next several days I brought the exact same items back to a Floor & Decor store in a different location. The staff also asked the store manager about the same number of open boxes items, after take a looks the manager happily said: "anything." whenever you buy within days and the item is unused you can return it no problem." . They then promptly returned me the $ which Jeremy and the staff both told me to throw in the trash the days before. My question is whether Floor & Decor's sales policy in each store is different or depends on each customer and depends on the happiness of the store managers to make a decision for each case?"
