"Nice little place for a picnic. Nice and shaded. And clean. Each table is on a concrete pad, so it's not so dirty as many other places get. We were on the road, and chose this place to stop and eat our pre-packed lunch, just based on a google search. Google wanted to take us in the back way, but it was chained closed. We found our way around to the correct entrance and it was fine. Park in the grass across the street and carry your stuff in. Lots of trashcans to dispose of your garbage. 2 port-a-pots on site, and they weren't bad. There is a lake to look at. Not good for swimming."

"A nice little spot to enjoy your day. Located on the shore of South Watuppa Pond at the former Dave's Beach, there are plenty of trees providing shade and tempting birds to come and mingle with you. There are picnic tables and lots of room for beach chairs and blankets. A long walkway leads deep into the site. Stone benches line the shore. Traffic sounds of Rt. can be heard but are subdued. Trash bins and porta-potties are conveniently located on site. Parking hasn't been completed so you'll have to play it by ear."
