Worst scheduling attendants! Don’t waste your time going here. Ask your doctors to refer you to another location! Here’s why: I called this office and attempted to schedule a time sensitive ultrasound. My doctors office sent the referral over yesterday and so I decided to follow up today to schedule the appointment. Upon calling l was told that they don’t know if they received my referral, and that I needed to wait until they call me and they hung up the phone on me. I called back and asked to speak to the office manager who was worst then the first person. My doctors office confirmed twice that they sent it over already and this office is just so negligent, unprofessional, and rude! The absolute worst!! The office manger said that they didn’t receive it and can’t do nothing for me. Which was a bold face lie! These women are playing and treating people’s well-being as a joke. It’s beyond disgusting to treat people like this!

Been trying to schedule an appointment for a couple of days. Nothing seems to be working in this hospital. It’s a shame .

I had a very negative experience at IR. The only good part of my experience was the receptionist Joy, who guided me through the process of making an appt and obtaining a referral from my PCP. I have to go to Einstein because of my insurance-I needed to get a picc line inserted. The first picc line was giving me issues and I was repeatedly told that it had nothing to do with the picc line. My concerns of swelling, numbness, tingling, continued bleeding, extreme high heart rate, and shoulder pain were all dismissed. I was told to go to emergency if I was really concerned. I finally went to urgent care and got all kinds of tests, and was told it of course had everything to do with the picc line and needed to be re-placed. I had to fight with many PAs and Drs at IR to take my symptoms seriously and move the line to another area. I was repeatedly told that there was nothing wrong with my line and the issues were just caused by anxiety. I did finally get a second line placed by another PA...

I had to fight with many PAs and Drs at IR to take my symptoms seriously and move the line to another area. I was repeatedly told that there was nothing wrong with my line and the issues were just caused by anxiety. I did finally get a second line placed by another PA with absolutely none of the issues from the first line. I got minimal discharge instruction (literally have been given more thorough discharge instructions for an ear piercing) and was told I can proceed with all activities as normal, including lifting at the gym (you can’t with a picc line). Additionally, while I was on the table during the procedure a nurse asked to remove my glasses and necklace and I agreed, asking her to hold them. I got my glasses back and didn’t realize until I got home that I didn’t get my necklace back. When I called to inquire, I was repeatedly dismissed and told that it is not protocol to remove jewelry and the item was not found. This is extremely frustrating as this necklace was a rare vintage piece with extreme sentimental value that can never be replaced. Bottom line. My overall experience with IR was a frustrating one where I was repeatedly dismissed, invalidated, and treated as if I was a nuisance. The message was very clear that my health and well-being does not matter. Avoid if at all possible. If you are like me and are mandated to go here, don’t hesitate to advocate for yourself or ask others to accompany you."
